Can I exclude certain IPs from analytics reports

Is there a way to exclude certain IPs from the analytics reports? We log in regularly to make sure that the stream is working and would like to exclude us from being counted as a view when running reports.

As far as I am aware, it is not possible to exclude specific IP addresses from the analytics reports.

However, you can verify the status of Brightcove stream by visiting the following page: Brightcove Status. You may also subscribe to alerts on this page to receive notifications about any issues.

Alternatively, you could upload a dummy video that is only visible to your team. This approach would allow you to manually exclude this content from your analytics statistics.

Hi @Jon Ashford,

Thank you for sharing your questions on Bright Spot!

As Andy mentioned, the ability to filter out IP address ranges is not available at this time.

Public doc:

The options and combinations available can be found in the following report within this documentation:

Have an excellent day!
