Completely unofficial answer and strictly for comedic purposes: I believe its a protest against the change as everyone still calls it Twitter (as noted by your own use of (Twitter) in the title, and love the “iconic bird logo” in comparison to the boring font X he replaced it with!

Serious response:  Thank you @Andy Hartono  for reporting this.  I have added your comment (and the upvotes) to the internal ticket representing this change and will ask the player development team to elevate the priority of this fix.
