I am new to this program and it’s REALLY not user friendly!  Our real estate brand is offering this as a perk.  I’ve completed the video but it will NOT let me post to social media or transition this video from a horizontal video to a tall story/reel (have of video is cut off).  Where do I begin? HELP.

PS….our marketing director is on vacation until the 25th

If your content is going on the social media story/reel, keep it vertical. If it's going on YT or FB or web, make it horizontal.

The easiest way to transform your horizontal video to portrait mode, record the whole video in portrait orientation using available mobile apps. Be aware that this may result in a black background.

Hi @Jamie Curry

Thank you for sharing you question on Bright Spot!

I would like to complement @Andy Hartono answer, which is totally accurate.

In order to publish your videos on social your account will need to be entitle to Social. The Social module offer the ability to publish you content depending the social media platform you choose.

Please review the following public documentation in order to know the social media platform we support: https://studio.support.brightcove.com/social/module/creating-social-media-publishing-destinations.html#instpostinfo, additionally, the documentation contain the steps to connect your social media platform with your Video Cloud account.

As @Andy Hartono mentioned, the ability to have vertical videos came from the video source itself.

Additionally you can modify the player aspect ratio. Please see the following documentation:  https://player.support.brightcove.com/code-samples/brightcove-player-sample-vertical-video.html

When the video is being published go to the embed code and modify the following element style="padding-top: 56.25%;">, you can see the sample code the documentation points as reference.

I would like to share with you the following sample implemented: https://cs1.brightcodes.net/agonzalez/Case_01174994_aspectratio.html
