The Brightcove team is excited to announce our new web-based video editing functionality available in Video Cloud (for users of Marketing Studio and Communications Studio).

With the new editing features, you can accelerate your video publishing workflows and seamlessly edit videos in your media library. You can work faster in revising content for publication to channels like social media, edit video content into clips for re-syndication or promotion, make edits to user-generated content, and more.

Editing capabilities include:

  • Full creative flexibility to clip, edit, and stitch
  • Templates, stock images, and audio tracks for all the content you need*
  • Incorporate brand colors and fonts
  • Simple workflows to easily edit and publish

Is this why the clip editor disappeared from the social tool? Does everyone have access to this tool. I don’t see it in our account?

Hello @Mitchell Forst - You should be able to continue to use the clip editor in the social module. If you previously had access to the clipper in the social module and no longer see it, I suggest connecting with Support who can look into the issue for you.

The editor is currently available to those with Marketing Studio and Communications Studio accounts. If you would like access, your account manager can work with you to determine the best option for enabling this feature.
