Brightcove recently released a major version update to all Gallery templates, and it is mandatory for all Gallery users to upgrade their experiences by September 30, 2024. We will support older versions of the templates until September 30, 2024; however, if you do not upgrade by then, Brightcove will automatically update to this major version starting October 1, 2024. We highly recommend that you upgrade your active Gallery experiences with your team before this date so you can confirm they are functioning correctly with the latest version update. If you do not, you risk formatting and overall design errors, potentially impacting viewer experiences, especially if you make use of heavy customization features such as custom CSS/JS. Note: Moving forward, we are introducing a new policy that once we launch a major release for a Gallery template, we’ll continue to support the older version for six months. As with this version update, if you don’t update within 6 months, you will be automatically upgraded to the newest template version.
