We released a new version of our WordPress plugin – v2.8.5. This version includes updates to bug fixes, improved responsiveness with experiences API, and a better labeling experience.

It’s not only beneficial to take advantage of the enhancements in this new version, but as of March 31, 2024, Brightcove no longer officially supports WordPress versions below 6.0. If you decide not to upgrade, the WordPress connector will still work, but without official support from Brightcove, experiences may break in the future.
