The videos were uploaded successfully. But they are pending on the rendition creation. I tried to use the different “Ingest Profile”. It still doesn’t work.

I have now created two videos that have taken 1 hour+ of my time. When I go to publish the videos they are getting stuck on uploading on the My Videos page and continue to show the spinning circle of death under status. I’m not sure how this keeps happening- I am about to no longer waste my time with Video Cloud.

I want to create video branching based on user submission in the quiz. How can I do this on brightcove?

I want to fetch the list of all videos linked to my brightcove account and this list should be sorted based on size of the videos.While going through brightcove API docs I came across this reference: https://apis.support.brightcove.com/cms/references/reference.html#tag/Videos/operation/GetVideos. As you can see over here, there’s no size based sort supported as a query param.Is there a way to achieve this fetch or should I fetch the list of videos and sort it based on size info provided in the Digital master field?

Hi team, Wondering what I’m doing wrong here. I’m trying to download a video that was uploaded a few months back in 1920x1080 resolution. However now when I go to get the file, the highest quality it will allow me to download is 1280x720. Why is that? And how can I change that? Thank you in advance.

I don’t see any buttons or anything in the Upload screen or the Tracks tab that would start the translation process. We have an Enterprise account for Brightcove Studio.

Is there way to append a short video to the end of another video. We want to add short 30-second self promos to the end of our regular videos. Right now, we manually do this during the editing process. I was hoping there was a more automated way to do that in the Brightcove.

Hi,In my company we are considering creating a new section in our mobile applications. Currently what we have is basically a video library (hosted by Brightcove). The idea now is to create an audio library where users could play new content that would be audio only. Some of that content could be divided into “songs” so to speak, or chapters. The question is the following:What would be the best method of storing the content: upload each “song” as separate assets, or upload them together and then use the chapters (a vtt file) to go to one point or another in the playback? Also, it is very important that the user has the option to hear all the “songs” in a row of the same title, without suffering any interruption between one song and the next.  Thanks in advance

Our video data comes from various areas of the company. Now I'm supposed to give individual departments their old video data so that they can edit new videos for their social media channels. Is there a way to download a specific selection of video data, or at least several videos at once? I only know that you can save individual videos via the browser link...

I explored the Brightcove documentation and inserted chapters/bookmarks. Users can click the Chapters menu and view a list of chapters. According to the Brightcove documentation, Chapters can be placed at Top-left Top-right Bottom-left Bottom-rightHowever, I don’t want chapters to be displayed on the Video screen. Can it be displayed as hover over on the timeline (similar to YouTube key moments display)?

Hi. My company has learned of several employees using private Camtasia and Vimeo accounts to share tutorials with customers. Without clamping down too hard, we’d still like to have more oversight and QC over these videos.One option we discussed is to create a centralized, branded “hub” where users can upload their videos and create their own playlists, which could then be shared out to customers. Can such a thing be done with Brightcove? TIA.

This choice in the reports section “video.updated_at” says it is the date/time when the video was last modified.But does that mean the actual video file was updated, or could that really mean anything was updated, such as the name, a tag, the role, etc?  I need a report on a group of videos to know the last time each one was updated with a new video file. Thanks

There is a point in the video where the user will get a choice between two options.Is there a possibility to highlight the choices moment the user hovers the options? if this is not possible and you can suggest a workaround then I will be grateful. Thanks in advance.

I’m interested in setting up a video ingestion procedure using google sheets.My ideal workflow looks like this: a google sheet is prepared with 1 row per video, and a column for each metadata field. Videos are hosted on gdrive (or box?) and a link to them is on the sheet.Using google app script, I highlight one or more rows, and then run an “ingest” command (or an “update video source file” command) from the Custom Menu. The script would send each file to brightcove with its accompanying metadata, and then update the google sheet with the new brightcove ID.But I have a feeling I can’t be the first one to think of this - has anybody else created a resource like this? What kind of upload automations have you developed?

Is there a way to export a list to a csv of all of the Brightcove Interactive projects that are currently active within a subaccount? 

Is there a way to bulk import projects into Brightcove Interactive via csv? Second question, once the projects are created is there a way to bulk import chapters to those projects from a csv file? 

I’m new to using Brightcove and am wondering how others use the Reference ID field for videos. Whether it helps teams to manage videos with a consistent, repeatable data point. I realize it’s a manual-entry field, but it seems like something I might build into a content management best practices doc or some other instructions for our media coordinator. Thanks!

Can a video be split in different sections? For example: a 10 min video, split in 10 section, that user can jump to the section which is needed ?
