Let’s talk EVP. For decades, researchers and enthusiasts alike have claimed to capture unexplained voices on audio recordings—voices that weren’t heard at the time of the recording. These are known as Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVP. But here’s the big question: Are we actually hearing spirit voices? Or are we simply experiencing pareidolia—the brain’s tendency to find meaningful patterns in random noise? Some EVPs are whispery and vague, needing subtitles to guide interpretation. Hello, Is there a possiblity to get an overview, in for example in Excel, with all the video's with a date when they were last viewed?  

Is there any way to generate a report and export into a spreadsheet all the videos that I have in my account, including the folder name and the date the video was last viewed?I can view this on screen, but I can’t find an option to export what I’m seeing.  Basically, all the columns I can view on screen in the “video” listing under “Media,” exported into a spreadsheet.Thank you.

Is there a way to generate a report that provide individual viewer metrics by each viewer account or id?  Is that a feature or module that needs to be enabled?  Can not figure out how to access this vital information.  Please advise if you have any knowledge or insight.   Thank You!

Getting typescript error:  Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '<playerId>_default')

Brightcove updated its user interface in the last week or so and now I can't get at some of the Analytics data I was frequently using. If you click on any video there's no longer an Analytics tab. Also in the media tab I can no longer select "Views in the last 30 days" or "Last date viewed" to display as fields. Is there still a way to get those features or are they totally gone now? Could they please be added back.

I need an API that allows me to retrieve a list of users with access to my Brightcove account for integration with another system.Currently, there is no built-in option to download a user list from Brightcove Studio.I have access to APIs such as:🔹 https://cms.api.brightcove.com/v1/accounts/{{account_id}}/videos (for video management)However, I couldn’t find an API to list users. AI-generated suggestions like:🔹 https://oauth.brightcove.com/v4/accounts/{account_id}/users🔹 https://cms.api.brightcove.com/v1/accounts/{account_id}/users…do not seem to exist or return errors.Has this functionality been removed?Is there an alternative API to retrieve user access details?Thanks in advance for your help!

Is there a way to see performance data related to people watching our videos with the closed-captions on? Can these data further be broken down by language? For example: 90 percent of people watch the video without captions, 5 percent watch it with Spanish captions, 3 percent with Chinese captions, and 2 percent with Greek captions.

Example: I have 110,000 total views for all my course offerings from Dec 1 through Feb 28. Almost 6k of the 110k views list “players.brightcove.net” as the Display Domain. Very few people have access to the direct links to the videos - most view the videos via an LMS.Do videos that indicate players.brightcove.com as the display domain play behind a firewall that blocks domain information? Or is there another reason or reasons this will happen?

Hi, we are using brightcove in a nextjs app and we are facing the issue that for each video that gets rendered via player-loader it created an additional style tag for the playerId for the dimensions which adds up overtime, as the page is not reloaded on page navigation.<style class=”bc-player-aLEWmlpn9L_default-index-0-video-dimensions”>.bc-player-aLEWmlpn9L_default-index-0{width:640px;height:360px;}.bc-player-aLEWmlpn9L_default-index-0.vjs-fluid:not(.vjs-audio-only-mode){padding-top:56.25%;}<style class=”bc-player-aLEWmlpn9L_default-index-1-video-dimensions”>...<style class=”bc-player-aLEWmlpn9L_default-index-2-video-dimensions”>etc. Is this a case for the support or for the github repo? We don’T want to do the “clean up” task outself, it’s fine that the main css gets loaded only once and stays in the page but this entries really add up if you navigate in video galleries.

Today I noticed the “Standby” tab under the Live module was missing on Brightcove 1.0, so I no longer have access to my SEPs to activate them. I’ve yet to transition to 2.0 because all of my SEPs changed RTMPs/Stream Keys in Brightcove 2.0 and I have an abundance of different encoders across multiple locations across the country, so the transition will take some time and coordination with folks at those locations.Is this a bug? Or is 2.0 no longer optional? If anyone has any advice, it’d be much appreciated.

If my videos are scattered around and not in folders or tagged, whats the best option to isolate them to track insights on them as a group? 

I have uploaded an audio file and registered images in both the "Poster" and "Thumbnail" fields. However, when viewing the published video on a smartphone, the images are not displayed.The images appear before playback, but once the video starts, the screen turns black. I would like the registered images to remain visible at all times.Is there a way to achieve this?I am not good at English, so please reply in simple English.

Hello everyone, We'd like to integrate our team logo into our videos. The problem is that it's only possible with an image. It's too big and the image revolution is bad. We'd like our logo to match the size of the sotheby's template. Sample video with our oversized logoThank you for your help 

We have over 200 registered users in our organization. It would be helpful to be able to email the group with best practice reminders etc. I see where I can see all the users in User Management, and I suppose I could copy/paste each individual email but is there an easier way to collate everyone’s email?

Hi,In my company we are considering creating a new section in our mobile applications. Currently what we have is basically a video library (hosted by Brightcove). The idea now is to create an audio library where users could play new content that would be audio only. Some of that content could be divided into “songs” so to speak, or chapters. The question is the following:What would be the best method of storing the content: upload each “song” as separate assets, or upload them together and then use the chapters (a vtt file) to go to one point or another in the playback? Also, it is very important that the user has the option to hear all the “songs” in a row of the same title, without suffering any interruption between one song and the next.  Thanks in advance

Our video data comes from various areas of the company. Now I'm supposed to give individual departments their old video data so that they can edit new videos for their social media channels. Is there a way to download a specific selection of video data, or at least several videos at once? I only know that you can save individual videos via the browser link...

Anyone else having issues accessing Video Cloud? I can log in, but can’t play a video.  My colleague (at a different IP address) can’t even login. He gets a 504.
