Hi all,New to using Brightcove so bear with me here. My place of employment currently uses Brightcove to play videos on our site and I’ve been tasked with supporting playlists in this component. I have it mostly working (both videos and playlists work independently, using the default player for the videos and a custom player for playlists) but if they’re on the same page together, the second one to come in looks a little funky. If I’m looking at the hourly view numbers for a program that was live streamed. Is there any way to tell how many are unique viewers and how many are holdovers from the previous hour?

Do we have any option to bulk upload the videos in Brightcove?  I can see there is a integration via google drive and dropbox but we don’t have those option in our organization to use.  It would be great if someone can suggest any potential API by using which we can upload the videos programmatically in bulk. Thankyou! 

I am not seeing any information in search that comes up with how to prevent downloading of your videos when you share them using a player and iframe on a website. 

Just wanted to see who is going to the NAB Show. I’ll be attending with focus around the Streaming Summit. This will be my first NAB Show, so if anyone is going or has any advice/suggestions, please let me know!

I’m interested in setting up a video ingestion procedure using google sheets.My ideal workflow looks like this: a google sheet is prepared with 1 row per video, and a column for each metadata field. Videos are hosted on gdrive (or box?) and a link to them is on the sheet.Using google app script, I highlight one or more rows, and then run an “ingest” command (or an “update video source file” command) from the Custom Menu. The script would send each file to brightcove with its accompanying metadata, and then update the google sheet with the new brightcove ID.But I have a feeling I can’t be the first one to think of this - has anybody else created a resource like this? What kind of upload automations have you developed?

I am looking to create an accessibility button for a Brightcove player v7 that groups function under one button.  This button when clicked would give the user access to the closed captioning settings and Described Video settings.  By having them grouped together it keeps the player controls bar cleaner.  How would I do this?

Can someone please help me implement the Google Analytics plugin correctly with a Brightcove video?

I am using Brightcove connector version 6 + and on /brightcove/admin page I can see a loader icon on the page which doesn't go away.  Have anyone faced this issue and let me know how to rectify this. 

I work at a software company that offers virtual sessions streams.We're integrated lightly with vimeo where we can embed your video player so our customers can host their videos within our product.I have a few cookie/privacy questions:1. Does your embedded player generate any cookies at all?2. If so, does it generate any non-essential cookies that would fall under categories such as usage, marketing, tracking, etc? We are evaluating how we have to handle our privacy/cookie banners that our customers interact with and need to understand any implications to 3rd party code such as the vimeo player.(currently rendered using the React player code on github)

Is there a way to export a list to a csv of all of the Brightcove Interactive projects that are currently active within a subaccount?

Is there a way to bulk import projects into Brightcove Interactive via csv? Second question, once the projects are created is there a way to bulk import chapters to those projects from a csv file? 

“VPN/Proxy detection is enabled by default when geo-filtering is activated”Clarifying question - does this mean that when we have geofiltering enabled and we are only allowing US playback rights that if someone is living in Spain and has VPN set to America that Brightcove can detect this VPN use and block playback?

Is there a way to integrate between mixpanel and brightcove?We want to know the exact video duration watched by a user on mixpanel?

I’m new to using Brightcove and am wondering how others use the Reference ID field for videos. Whether it helps teams to manage videos with a consistent, repeatable data point. I realize it’s a manual-entry field, but it seems like something I might build into a content management best practices doc or some other instructions for our media coordinator. Thanks!

When publishing a video, the advanced option provides a snippet along the lines of this:<script src="https://players.brightcove.net/ACCOUNT_ID/PLAYER_ID_default/index.min.js"></script> Does this support the “async”  attribute? If so - Can that be the noted in the embed code? This would greatly help on page load performance. 

Is there a shared roadmap for upcoming player integrations?

Can I host custom plugins on Brightcove?

Interactivity related: When using chapters, can you select a frame thats shown before the chapter begins? For example when working in pharma, the prescribing info for a drug must always be seen. So, if we had chapters, can we make it so the video freezes on the part where the prescribing info shows first and then it can proceed with the chapter selected?

Can you use Chat and Q/A services in In-player experiences?

Can you reformat a 16x9 video frame within Brightcove before publishing to a social media destination, let's say for a YouTube Short or IG Reel where the frame is 9x16?

Can I publish more than one video to social media at a time?
