When I post to YouTube, the description always gets cut off.  The full description never pulls completely. I am not out of (or anywhere near) the character limit. Any suggestions? 

I got this message:No renditions are available.If this resource was uploaded recently, it may still be processing. Check again later. But when I go to my page, I see a red triangle with an exclamation mark 

This choice in the reports section “video.updated_at” says it is the date/time when the video was last modified.But does that mean the actual video file was updated, or could that really mean anything was updated, such as the name, a tag, the role, etc?  I need a report on a group of videos to know the last time each one was updated with a new video file. Thanks

Is it possible to edit the display name of a Brightcove link in a hyperlink? When clicking on “edit hyperlink”, the display name section is greyed out and cannot be edited.

Hello, I work with a custom plugin and it has been noticed recently that we are receiving an error now on recent versions of Brightcove. It seems like it’s related to an update in Video.js versions. Error is:"VIDEOJS: ERROR: Unable to initialize "comscore" plugin: TypeError: Class constructor Ua cannot be invoked without 'new'" Error is reproducible onBrightcove Player Version 7.18.1. (using Video.js Version 8.12.0) Brightcove Player Version 7.21.0. (using Video.js Version 8.14.1)Custom plugin working on Brightcove Player Version 6.67.7. (using Video.js Version 7.21.4) Brightcove Player Version 7.17.2 (Tested earlier, now unavailable in the video cloud, but Video.js Version was 8.11.5 see hereI’m still debugging and trying to investigate on my end, but I was hoping someone had knowledge or suggestions surrounding that Videojs error when using a custom plugin. Is there a way to exclude certain IPs from the analytics reports? We log in regularly to make sure that the stream is working and would like to exclude us from being counted as a view when running reports.

Our videos often have an intro slide/frame during the first few seconds (or more) of the video. Is there a way to set the default Poster and Thumbnail capture to a specific timestamp?For example, the ingest profile would always use the frame at 00:02 as the default poster/thumbnail.This would save us a few clicks (especially since we’re syncing most videos from an outside location rather than directly into BC).Thanks!

I noticed the ability to download a video file exists in video cloud, but the highest resolution available is 720p. Is it possible to download the original hi-res file from video cloud?

I need a 100% viewing for a passing grade. Brightcove Support says that It is “not possible to eliminate the giant Header and submit button,” when displayed in the LMS. That header creates a situation where the viewer may not even see the top of the video, where a continue button is displayed to release a gated annotation.  Any advice would be helpful as Support has ignored my requests for further disccusion.

Does Brightcove have plans to establish an ingest point for live streaming in Central or South America? I’ve had to use SRT instead of RTMP in these regions to increase stream performance and reliability. 

In a recent event we noticed that SRT streams do not support seamless failover to backup like RTMP streams. Are there plans to allow similar seamless failover for SRT streams? The user experience was not ideal in that a browser refesh was required to connect to the backup stream.

I’m adding cue points to a video, but the cue point icon is not displaying on the timeline, and after adding a cue point it doesn’t actually appear in the cue point list. So, I have no way of deleting or adding them.What are some possible causes of this that I should be considering? I’m using Firefox browser version 115.9.1esr (64-bit) for Mac EDIT: confirming that this appears to be an issue with Firefox, or at least the ESR version I;m using. The cue points are displayed properly in Chrome 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (x86_64) for Mac.

Hi,I am trying to get a report generated with all the videos uploaded which does has 0 video impression which totally comes to 1700 videos but where as when i generate a report only 300 is only generated. And the videos with 0 video impression are getting dropped. How do i generate a report with all the videos uploaded till now irrespective of the views and analytics. I tried passing more values in date range filter it still did not help. Thanks
